Contributor Terms

The archive isn't open yet

The community archive is not live. It opens once our registered DMCA agent is filed and we launch. These terms apply to anyone who contributes once it does.

Your representations and warranties

When you submit any document to the archive, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to share it. You own the material or are otherwise authorized to upload and distribute it here.
  • It is not under NDA or customer-confidential. It is not subject to any confidentiality or non-disclosure obligation, is not marked confidential, and is not tied to a specific customer's site or job.
  • Sharing it does not violate anyone else's rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.

You are accountable for what you submit. We may remove any submission that is reported or found to be improperly shared, at our discretion and without notice.

Repeat-infringer policy

We enforce a repeat-infringer policy. A contributor who repeatedly submits material they don't have the right to share will lose the ability to contribute. We'd rather keep a smaller, clean library than a large, questionable one. The full takedown process is on the DMCA page.

Acceptable use

  • Contribute documents that genuinely help technicians do the work correctly.
  • Don't upload customer-confidential, NDA-bound, or site-specific material.
  • Don't misrepresent who you are or your right to share what you upload.
  • Don't use the archive to distribute malware, spam, or unrelated content.
  • Accounts are attributable (email-floor, not anonymous) so contributions can be traced and reviewed.

Review and points

Submissions are queued for review. Acceptance is at the discretion of our reviewers, and any contribution credit is awarded only when a reviewer accepts your submission — submitting alone does not earn points.

Not a design or compliance authority

Material in the archive is field reference only. It does not replace manufacturer instructions, a stamped fire/life-safety design, or your Authority Having Jurisdiction. See the disclaimer.
